What actually happens during a sound bath?

You lie down comfortably with a blanket and eye covering. The facilitator plays a layered sequence of singing bowls, gong and voice. You don't need to do anything — the sound moves through the body and the nervous system responds on its own.

Is sound healing safe for everyone?

Sound healing is generally very safe. We ask about pregnancy, recent surgeries, epilepsy, pacemakers and acute mental-health crises during intake so we can adapt the practice. If any of these apply, please let us know in advance.

What should I bring to a session?

Comfortable clothes, a water bottle and an open mind. Mats, blankets, bolsters and eye covers are provided. Group sessions are barefoot — please arrive a few minutes early to settle.

How is this different from meditation?

Meditation asks the mind to settle through attention. Sound healing helps the nervous system settle through vibration. Many people who find meditation difficult find sound baths far easier — the work is done for you.

Will I feel something during my first session?

Most people feel a deep physical relaxation, often a sense of lightness or quiet for hours afterwards. Some experience emotional release, vivid imagery or simply sleep. All responses are welcome and valid.

How often should I attend?

A single session is meaningful. A regular practice — weekly or monthly — compounds. Many of our practitioners come fortnightly, with seasonal ceremonies marking moons and equinoxes.

Do you offer private sessions?

Yes. Private sessions are deeply tailored and ideal if you are working through something specific, are new to the practice or simply prefer a one-to-one container.
